Nicky Adamson has over 20 years’ experience in the arts management sector, and has a particular expertise in the role of creativity in social regeneration.  She has significant experience of implementing, supporting and evaluating the impact of cultural programmes for local authorities and third sector organisation.  Nicky’s key areas of expertise include evaluation, project management, fundraising, strategic development for cultural organisations and managing large-scale community engagement projects.

Judith Barker has worked at a senior level within the public and voluntary sector for over 20 years. At the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) she operated in a range of senior roles covering economic development, regeneration, communities, rural and sustainable development. Judith led the business planning for firstsite and also the cultural aspect of Regional Cities East. Most recently she has completed a feasibility study for an arts and media centre. Judith is a PRINCE 2 project manager with experience of managing multi-million pound investment programmes and leads economic impact assessments, feasibility studies and SROI work for Culture First.
 
Katie Bavester has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, communications and strategic marketing of culture, sport and tourism.  Katie was East Region Project Manager for the 2012 Games leading a 7 year programme working with multiple stakeholders from public, private and third sector to maximise economic and social impact from the Games.  Katie now works as a freelancer undertaking research, bid writing, project development, business development and event management. Clients have included National Governing Bodies of Sport, Leisure Trusts, County Sports Partnerships, Local Enterprise Partnerships and Local Authorities.  Katie is adept at building strategic partnerships, managing stakeholders and is a qualified PRINCE 2 practitioner.  

Catherine Davis is a freelance cultural consultant working with a range of clients drawn from arts organisations, museums, Bridge organisations, artists, third sector organisations, higher education and local authorities. Contracts over the last 5 and a half years have included audits, evaluations and project management which drew on her research and information skills. She had 25+ years of experience in the cultural sector as a librarian (working in the schools and public sectors) and as a county arts officer. Children and young people and large partnership developments were a major focus for much of her career which included joint strategy and project development with museums and archives.

 
 

Tim Heathcote, Director of Heathcote Heritage Limited, is a heritage and museums expert who has significant experience of working with local government, government agencies and statutory bodies including the Heritage Lottery Fund.  He was the Deputy Chief Executive and Head of Operations for the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council for the East of England.   Recent work includes providing targeted input to a community interest company delivering an HLF funded project about the USAAF, and specialist advice in securing an HLF capital grant for the re-development of Bawdsey Radar Trust. Tim also undertakes mentoring work nationally on behalf of the Heritage Lottery Fund.

 

Richard Hunt has over 20 years of operational and strategic leadership experience in a portfolio of services spanning sports and physical activity, leisure, libraries, archives, cultural services. Working most recently within a local authority Adult and Communities Directorate, Richard has significant insight and experience of implementing improvement and innovation across services, and particularly embedding culture, sport and physical activity within the health care and well-being prevention agenda.  Richard brings a wide range of skillsets to the team including strategic business planning, partnership development and stakeholder management, strategic commissioning, contract and programme management, including service options and feasibility development. As a former Chair of the Chief Cultural & Leisure Officers Association, and as an advisor with the Local Government Association, Richard is an established leader in the sector.

 

 

Nicki Mayhew is a marketing consultant with a media background and 17 years’ experience of leading marketing and brand development strategies for the leisure, culture and sports sector. Nicki is well versed in bringing fresh perspectives and clarity to major marketing initiatives as well as delivering promotional activity, developing websites and social media integration, market research, securing sponsorship and staff briefing/training in relation to communication and the customer experience.

 
 

 

Elizabeth Oxborrow-Cowan is a qualified Archivist and Registered Member of the Archives and Records Association.  She has extensive experience of consulting to local authority heritage services and is very familiar with the issues they face.  Elizabeth has worked upon a number of regional initiatives for local archive and heritage services such as delivering the Heritage Change Programme for the London Boroughs and developing a set of collaborative options for the archive services of North Wales. Elizabeth is a Member of the Archives Accreditation Standard Committee and Deputy Chair of the UK Committee for UNESCO’s Memory of the World Programme.

 

 

Michael Sterry has an MBA, a degree in Recreation Management, and over 10 years’ experience in private and public sector leisure organisations.  During this time he has honed skills in performance management, data analysis and research for sports venues (including Olympic venues), visitor attractions, visitor accommodation, parks and health clubs.  Michael has a keen focus on driving improvement and is an accredited assessor for the EFQM Business Excellence Model.
