Low Cost Delivery Models

The Station is an example of a not-for-profit community enterprise that provides activities and recreational spaces to meet established local needs at affordable prices.  The initiative demonstrates that how a small/medium scale facility can operate without public subsidy. 

parkrun provides a low cost model for facilitating weekly 5k runs in local parks and open spaces.  Runs are timed, but are not races and are open to everyone.  There is no charge for taking part and each parkrun is organised by volunteers.
