Your Platform to Share

Here is some simple guidance on submitting articles for the website.

The Culture First website will be the primary communication channel with the sectors leaders and advocates. It will act as a platform to share learning, intelligence and good practice across the sector.

News Items & Case Studies

All news items and case studies articles should be tailored to the specific remit of Culture First, emphasising the improvement and/or efficiency aspect.

This might include (but is not limited to) highlighting

  • Improvement activity/use of CSIT
  • Shared services/collaborative working
  • Cross sector commissioning (PCT, CYP)
  • Value for money and efficiency; delivering more for less through culture and sport
  • Improved LAA outcomes linked to NI8-11/ or where culture and sport have made a contribution to other National Indicators
  • Evidence of the contribution culture and sport make to the key themes of community cohesion, worklessness, health and well-being

Items illustrating the full range of culture and sport services are welcomed; creative industries, all art forms, festivals, museums, libraries, archives, heritage, sports events and facilities, tourism and visitor attractions, parks, open spaces, countryside and children’s play.

Articles should be no more than 400 words and submitted as a word document.

Any accompanying forms, guidance notes, press coverage etc can be made available by hyperlinks or submitted as a pdf

If relevant please provide a selection of hi-resolution images in these formats - jpeg, tif or gif
