Your Platform to Share

Here is some simple guidance on submitting articles for the website.

News items and case study articles should be tailored to emphasise the improvement and/or efficiency aspect of your work.  This might include (but is not limited to) highlighting

  • Improved outcomes for individuals, communities or places - where culture and sport have made a contribution to local priorities
  • Value for money and efficiency; delivering more for less through culture and sport
  • Evidence of the contribution culture and sport make to the key themes of stronger communities, worklessness and the economy, health and well-being
  • Shared services/collaborative working
  • Cross sector commissioning (Health & well-being, Adult Social Care, Crime & anti-social behaviour, Children & Young People’s Services)

Items illustrating the full range of culture and sport services are welcomed; creative industries, all art forms, festivals, museums, libraries, archives, heritage, sports events and facilities, tourism and visitor attractions, parks, open spaces, countryside and children’s play.

Articles should be no more than 400 words and submitted as a word document.

Any accompanying forms, guidance notes, press coverage etc can be made available by hyperlinks or submitted as a pdf.
