somewhereto - matching young people to available spaces
It's a simple idea - a website displays spaces that people have offered to make available for young people to use. Young people register with somewhereto_ and a regional coordinator helps to match them to a space, or if one is not available, help them to find one. somewhereto_ also handles the legal and safety agreements to keep everyone safe and happy.
So if you are working with young people, let them know about the project and direct them to www.somewhereto.com to see how it works. This project is designed to encourage and inspire people to do something active in sports, arts or culture and to help them achieve their ambitions.
A space can be physical such as a room or a field, virtual such as a website or radio show or brain space such as advice, experience or know-how. Once your space is registered on the site, you retain control over when and how it is used and you are protected by the somewhereto_ license agreement, so please think hard about whether you have something you could offer free of charge to enable something good to happen.
If you have a space you can offer, please get in touch with elly@somewhereto.com
