SHARED Enterprise Funding Fair

Museum of East Anglian Life

About the event

The SHARED Funding Fair is a mini-conference, with a programme of fundraising-focused presentations and workshops, alongside information stands where you can meet representatives of key funding and strategic bodies that support museums and heritage organisations and find out what they can do for you. You choose how to divide your time between networking, presentations, and workshops, prioritising the opportunities which best serve your needs.

The Programme

The highlight of this year’s Funding Fair will be a panel of experienced funders discussing the things that can make or break an application. Andrea Pittock, Grants Manager at Suffolk Community Foundation will begin by introducing the Foundation’s work, before opening the panel discussion about funding application ‘dos and don’ts’.

Kate Brown, Development Manager at the Heritage Lottery Fund, is also offering 20 minute clinics for people to have an informal talk about their funding proposals.  If you are considering applying for HLF funding, this is a perfect opportunity.  You can also request a free 20 minute consultation with David Burgess, Fundraising Consultant and Director at Apollo Fundraising.  David will be happy to answer your questions, review proposals and give fundraising advice.  Both clinics must be requested in advance – please state on your booking form if you would like to request an appointment and we will email you an expression of interest form.

Reserving a place
